Hey there Sandi, Was wondering if you were ever interested in who the cabin builders were in the early 60’s here in the Green Valley Lake area. Many of the older cabins have a common look with the peaked roofing systems with windows across the fronts. I think the builder of our cabin was located in Running Springs. There is a cabin that I think was once the sales office on Hwy. 18 that looks like our cabin here on Weeping Willow Drive. We are the third generation owners here and the building was constructed in 1964 by the grandfather of my wife. My searches for builders from the 60’s are not successful…and many of the original owners have moved on. I know your family has been here a while now and wondered if you had any other facts on my cabin builder inquiry for this area…
Hi – I don’t have any names except “Jim Lawton” – he built many places up here and was a RE agent. I’ll forward you message to Lyle Fergusson who has been here for 50 years.
